Wot I did on my hollydays
I was on hols last week and had a few days out. First, a trip to Sammy Miller's museum where I had some VERY BAD TEA (a bag in a mug, unacceptable). I actually saw Sammy too, he's a little old man now and was giving a tour to some pensioners, so it didn't seem appropriate to duff him up over that tea. Next it was Exbury Gardens, to see er... flowers and stuff. Good ice cream there. Bluebell railway next. I don't really know much about trains but I like the style and romance of steam. We spent the day running up and down the line in cosy 1st class compartments, having the occasional nap. Finally, a couple of nights in Norfolk to visit folks and rip up roads on the H2. I've done almost 3000 miles on it now, it's bloody brilliant. Found some great routes around Thetford/Swaffham/Fakenham/Dereham.
