Skillz

I did my first IAM observed ride last week, it was useful and I've got some good stuff to follow up on.  I was described as a safe rider but a bit of a bimbler, as I don't go looking for overtaking opportunities if the car in front is going 5mph below the limit.  I'm not sure that's something we're going to ever agree on, but regardless there is some valuable stuff to learn and the opportunity to do lots of ride-outs with the Thames Valley Advanced  Motorcyclist club.

There's been precious little time for riding though, I've been working virtually every day for weeks now.  I don't like to complain about having too much work, but bloody hell I'm approaching burn-out.  I'm not the normal easy-going ball of fluff I usually am, in fact I went a bit apeshit bananas last week at the security people at the London office.  They don't like me now.

In other news, Len and I went to see Stewart Lee's new show recently.  It was very funny, just check out this review from an astute tabloid reader:
“In my opinion Stewart Lee is a very dangerous man who needs to be locked away in a strait jacket in a psychiatric hospital.” Expat, Australia, Dailymail.co.uk
